Schedule, booking, cancelling and the waitlist

For members

The schedule is your studio's start page. Here you see which classes there are, book a class, cancel, and put yourself on the waitlist when a class is full.

Reading the schedule

The schedule shows one day at a time and opens on today. With Previous and Next you browse per week; with the strip of days you pick a day. A day without classes says No classes on this day. Classes from earlier this week you see by picking that day in the strip; they are shown as past, without a booking button. Under the name of a class there may be a short description, so you know who the class is for. You can also view the schedule without logging in.

Per class you see the time, the class type, the instructor and how many places are left, for example 2 out of 6 left. A full class shows Full. If you are on the waitlist yourself, it says Full · you are number 3. If you have booked the class, it says You are booked in. A class that has already started is grey with the label Past.

At the top right (on a phone in the header) is your balance: the number of classes you have left and until when your pass is valid, or Unlimited with a membership. If you have no valid pass, it says so: You do not have a valid class pass. or Your classes have run out.

All times are in the studio's time zone.

Booking a class

To book you need a valid class pass, single class or membership. How to buy one is in Buying and your balance.

  1. Click Book next to the class.
  2. You see a confirmation: This costs 1 class from your pass. You will have 7 left. or, with a membership, This is covered by your subscription.
  3. Click Confirm booking.

The class gets the label You are booked in and within a few minutes you receive the e-mail You're booked in for <class>.

When can you book?

  • The booking window opens by default 7 days before the class and closes 30 minutes before it starts. The studio can set this differently per class type. Outside the window you see after clicking Bookings for this class are not open yet. or Booking for this class is closed.
  • Your pass must be valid on the day of the class, not just today. If your pass expires on 30 September, you cannot book a class on 1 October.
  • A class cannot be booked twice.
  • Some studios limit the number of classes you can have open at the same time. Then you see You already have the maximum number of open bookings.

Which pass is used if you have several? First your membership, if you have one. Otherwise the pass that expires first. So a class pass next to a membership stays unused as long as the membership runs. On a timely cancellation the class goes back to the pass it came from.

Messages instead of the Book button:

Message What you can do
You do not have a valid class pass. with View the passes Buy a pass, or request a trial class if you have not been to the studio before.
Your classes have run out. Buy a new pass.
Your pass or membership is blocked. Please contact the studio. The studio has suspended your pass, for example after a chargeback.
Your membership is suspended. Pay the outstanding period to book again. Go to My membership and use Pay now.
Your membership is paused through <date>. The studio has paused your membership; booking works again after that date.

Cancelling a booking

Next to your own booking, in the schedule or under My bookings, is the button Cancel. Below it says until when you can cancel for free, for example Free cancellation until Wednesday 12 August at 07:00. By default that is until 12 hours before the class; the studio can set this differently.

  1. Click Cancel.
  2. Confirm with Yes, cancel.
  • If you cancel before the deadline, the class goes back on your pass: Cancelled — your credit has been returned. The class returns to the same pass, even if that pass has expired in the meantime; the validity is not extended.
  • If you cancel after the deadline, the button says The free cancellation window has passed — your credit will be lost. You can still cancel, but the class is gone.
  • If you have a membership, nothing was deducted and there is nothing to lose either. The message and the e-mail nevertheless say the credit has not been returned and you cancelled after the deadline, even when you cancel in time. That is incorrect and you can ignore it.
  • From the start time of the class you can no longer cancel.

You always get the e-mail Your booking for <class> has been cancelled. If you do not show up without cancelling, you lose the class and the studio can mark you as a no-show.

The waitlist

If a class is full, you see Join the waitlist instead of Book. That is possible only with a valid pass or membership, and only as long as the free cancellation deadline of that class has not passed. No class is reserved.

You see your place in the queue: Waitlist, position 2. You can always leave with Leave the waitlist. Your waitlist places are also under My bookings.

What happens when a place frees up:

  • Before the cancellation deadline: the first on the list is booked in automatically. You do not have to confirm anything and there is no response time. The class is deducted from your pass and you get the e-mail A place became available: you're booked in for <class>. If you do not want the class after all, cancel in the usual way.
  • Do you have no valid pass at that moment, or is your pass blocked or your membership paused? Then you are skipped and get an e-mail about it. You stay on the list; as soon as you have a pass again, you simply get your turn at the next free place.
  • After the cancellation deadline nobody is booked in automatically any more. Everyone on the waitlist gets the e-mail A place is available for <class> once, with the button Book now. First to book gets the place.

You do not see how many people are on the waitlist, only your own position.

If the studio cancels a class

If the studio cancels a class, or a class is dropped automatically because there were too few participants, you always get your class back, even if the cancellation deadline had already passed. You get the e-mail <class> on <date> has been cancelled with the reason. The class disappears from the schedule and from your upcoming classes; under Earlier on My bookings it later reads Class cancelled by the studio.

If you were on the waitlist of a cancelled class, you get no e-mail.

My bookings

Under My bookings are your waitlist places, your Upcoming classes with the button Cancel, and under Earlier your classes of the past 90 days with the outcome per class: Attended, No-show, Cancelled, Cancelled, credit returned, Class cancelled by the studio or Not yet marked (the studio has not updated attendance yet).
